It seems like my friends are slowly but surely abandoning LJ. No one updates anymore (including me) except for two people. so sad......

Yesterday I visited Cal Tech and Harvey Mudd. It was a lot of fun, we had an information seminar ateach one followed by a tour. The tours, especially the ones through the residential sides of the campuses convinced me that I will love living at college. Its going to be awesome.
After visiting cal tech I have made it my mission to go there. It was amazing. It is an old school, which I love, a small school, also awesome, and is ridiculusly rich and smart. Their students get keys to all the research buildings and get 24 hour access!!! All their exams are not proctored!! Its amazing. Its really REALLY tough to get in though.
I am going to have to retake the SAT :( and try for at least 2200.
I am going to have to try and take Physics next year : ( which means dropping AP Studio Art which I was looking forward to.
Oh well.
Its such an amazing school its worth it.
They have this thing called S.U.R.F. over the summer where you get to research a problem and try to fix it, such as malaria, and then present your findings at a conference the next fall and they pay you $6000!
Its AWESOME!

I really hope I can get in.............

Also after checking out the schools me and my dad went to check out cars. At the moment it looks like we are going to be trading in the old mercedes and getting a new car, probably a new Kia Forte or something similar. I am really excited and now HAVE to take drivers ed. I really want to drive.....

Roadshow is done : (
Its a sad thing. Its always fun to go to the middle schools and do borderline nothing for the first half of my day. It was a nice break and now I have to go back to my normal life. I also have been putting off homework for the classes I have been missing and now need to catch up :P

Weekend was really fun. Saturday was Amelia's thing and that was pretty fun. Hanging out in the backyard and annoying carlos. The trail was fun but I wish I could have gone in that cave lol
I will have to organize a day where a whole bunch of us head up the long canyon trailhead and have a hike up there.
Sunday Kyle canceled on me and so I spent the day lazing about on the computer and texting peoples. Then I stayed up till 1:30 talking to someone on the phone xD and that was really fun but left me tired today.

GOD my brother is fucking pissing me off.
We are playing call of duty 4 and on every fucking map he has some fucking comment about how this map sucks and how there are only a few good maps. He finds something to complain about in EVERY FUCKING GAME. My god it is fucking pissing me off.

I was ignoring him until this guy came into our game named fraker. I took it to be pronounced fraker like tracker but when i call him that just once ethan gets all fucking high and mighty and says actually it is pronounced like raker. We argued about that for awhile and then when i was completely pissed and stop talking he find every fucking excuse to fucking say the dudes fucking name. Every time he did it fucking pissed me off more.

I AM SO FUCKING PISSED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not the pronunciation that was the matter it was his fucking stubbornness and inability to see his own part in why he is dying. Of course when you spawn and then run into the middle of the fucking battleground you are going to get fucking shot. He always says god i was spawn killed again.

The last two days I have been trying my hand at coloring with photoshop. I looked up a couple tutorials and wanted to know if any of you had any advice on how to make this better. Its not done yet but I am kinda stuck. http://badgerlord87.deviantart.com/art/Coloring-WIP-112064496

Today is Amelia's thing, it should be fun. I will be there around 3:00-3:30 because I have a clarinet lesson.

Also I checked most of my grades except Graphics and Publications or band, which I would be shocked if I got less than an A in because they are easy. I have A's in Calc (99.2% FTW!!!!!), english (Don't know how), and Chemistry (Just barely). I have a C in AP history : (
But since I have 3 AP classes I still have a 4.1 gpa!!! Yay! Hopefully this semester i can bring history up to a B and raise my GPA more. . . That would be awesome. . . .

My dad's band is playing. My mom is also in it and it will be the first time she has been onstage in over 20 years. Its free to get in and there is the option of buying food, nothing to get in. It would be great if you guys could come.

Today was awesome.

The conkey’s target runs are always fun. I love how we say we should go to conkeys and then we go and get almost nothing.

That one target employee hated us. . .

God the streak of no homework has come to an end. . .

Next week I am going to have like 5 hours of homework total. I need to outline 20 more pages, do 5 workbook pages and then study again for the quiz on Friday. That all takes about 4 hours total and then I will have like 30 minutes of calc a night. So sad. . .

I still hate communists. . .

Sorry but its true.

God I have been reading the book atlas shrugged and it is full of communist bastards who should die.

Otherwise it is one of the most awesome books I have ever read. I am already on page 280 out of 1200.

In addition to reading atlas shrugged I got out Guitar Hero I again and I love the songs on it. Its full of classic rock, which I love, like More than a Feeling by boston, Smoke on the water, iron man, texas flood (blues but still awesome) and a whole bunch of other ones. The only way guitar hero improved after one was the hammer ons and pull offs. They SUCK in guitar hero I. . .

Well another post of me just rambling on about the most random shit I can think of. . .

Another LJ post! Yay!

Ok, yesterday was really fun, the movie hellboy 2 was a really good movie, and the walking around was really fun. A lot of people seemed to be having phone troubles though.

Well I wanted to say that recently I got some new headphones, and yes they were $100. I have to say though they were totally worth it. I had to work like 12 hours for them and I realize that, but for most of those hours I was listening to my ipod. My old headphones would hurt my ears if I listened to them for too long. These ones don’t. They are also really funky in shape. The shape fits well in my ear, and makes it so that if I listen to it loud it doesn’t damage my ear as much, very valuable. In addition these headphones also have a MUCH richer sound, and more bass. This really is awesome for the music I listen too. The wire they have is weird and doesn’t tangle at all, ever. Even if I put it in my pocket without winding it up. The headphones also came with a nice/weird/geeky lanyard. It connects to the wires and goes around my neck so that I can let the headphones fall and they will just hang, without me having to worry about them. I have tried the Carlos method, of putting them around the neck; this worked, but overall frustrated me. Also they came with a nice leather case that holds my ipod and headphones. I love every aspect of these new headphones.

I know many of you would never spend that much money on headphones. In my mind it was worth it, I listen to music enough and enjoy these so much more that it was worth it.

On another note, for those of you who don’t know I have 7 people coming to live with me on Friday. They are Keith’s friends and are coming from all across the country and two are from England. It will be kinda interesting. They will be staying till the 28^th but the two from England will be staying for another ten days.

Last thing I wanted to say is that after all of them leave we are possibly going to adopt another dog. We have 5 possible candidates. One is “Moondoggie” (we don’t name them) who is blind. Another is “Otis” who is a really handsome dog, has a really nice coat, and sounds just plain cool. There are Woody, and dash, I think they are normal retrievers, but old. There is one other whose name I don’t remember but he is also a normal dog. The first two are my favorites. I will upload pictures later.
